God created mothers, representing Him everywhere,

            Her unfathomable kindness can reach anywhere,

Mother fully embodies love and affection,

            Wants her children to achieve perfection,

Mother gives life, risking her own,

            Under any circumstances, never to disown,

Mother adds values to our life,

            Shouldn’t forget her after getting wife,

Take care of mothers of old-age,

            They taught us how to manage,

 Never send mothers to old-age home,

            They made us to feel at-home,

Mother’s affectionate love knows no bound,

            Can’t be matched with anything around,

I dedicate poems to Mother Lakshmi,

            For my father she was Gruhalakshmi,

Although my parents are no more,

            I remember them more and more,

 Every mother, in herself is legend,

            Writing about her, there is no end. . . . . .
